Ok, I got a bundled phone-&-512kb-ADSL package thing I could live with and signed 'er up.
Phone starts werking tomorrow, but 7-10 days before the modem arrives.

Yay! Ted's back, that's really great! Congrats on (almost) getting back to us, pal! Please check your e-mail when you have time, I hope my letters made it through to you - I investigated the issues you asked me to investigate and gave you full report. E-mail me if you don't have those, I'll resend them immediately.
Good luck getting ADSL up and running! ADSL is a sure sweetie, I got this type of connection (8Mbit/s) recently and I feel like I won't ever go back to dial-up! :)
