Some you win...

...and some blow up in your face like a steaming bag of burning do-do.

Here's my first effort at making a mimic. I was hoping the game would automatically assign some sort of animation to its attacks (the 'lid opening' one, under the circumstances, would look like a bite), in the way it automatically gives non-spell-csating monsters (such as lizardmen) an animation if u make them cast a spell (in their case, its sort of a throwing motion, but the important thing is, they wave their arms, there is a spell sound, and the spell occurs - it works).

This didn't. The bugger wouldn't even rotate to face his attacker.



O well. Back to the drawing board.
